A local business has recently donated computers Wierda Park Primary School to enhance learner experience.
Principal Ntombi Mamakoko said in a statement she was grateful to Construction Computer Software (CCS) and its CEO Andrew Skudder, who came in person for the handover.
“We are grateful for these computers,” Mamakoko said.
Skudder noted at the handover that it was important to give back and “recognise the new school”.
“This area has a shortage of schools.”
He said technology was important to the education of young minds.The school was expected to convert a storeroom into a library and media centre.
