Course Outline

An informative course covering creation of Users, Roles and Organisation set up. This course covers basic set up concepts and will get you up to speed with your accounting administrative functions.

BuildSmart Administrator, Senior Accountant who is responsible for the accounts administration

Duration

Pre-Requisites

  • Good accounting skills and a thorough understanding of the interfaces between sites, plant, stock and balance sheet accounting
  • Computer literacy and keyboard proficiency is assumed 

Curriculum

  • Organisation Setup and Parameters – Creation of a new organisation and the various settings required
  • User Configuration and Roles – Creation of user and roles and allocation to organisations
  • Date Post Validation – Overview of the process and how to configure it
  • General Ledger – Overview of the 4-quadrant chart of accounts
  • Period settings
  • Intercompany set up
  • VAT / GST
