Allocation is essential for ensuring the accuracy of your business's financial reporting. Accurate financial statements enable management to make appropriately informed decisions. This course covers key concepts and will get you up to speed with essential functions and features which will enable accurate and timeous reporting.

Pre-Requisites

  • Good accounting skills
  • Computer literacy and keyboard proficiency is assumed 

Curriculum

  • Cost Reports and Accruals – printing and viewing various key cost reports including actuals, accruals and balancing back to WIP
  • Month end Procedures – an overview of the running of the creditors, debtors, subcontractors, and ledger month end procedures
  • Profit Allocations – running the profit allocation procedure
  • Ledger Year end – running first year end and incremental year ends
