Course Outline

Gain an in-depth understanding on the various administrative, set up and house keeping functions within BuildSmart Procurement.

Pre-Requisites

  • Good procurement skills, preferably experienced in procurement for Contracts, Plant & Equipment and Stock
  • Computer literacy and keyboard proficiency is assumed.

Curriculum

  • Address and Contacts – how to create and link addresses and contacts
  • User Roles and User Management – creation of users and roles and allocating them to organisations
  • Organisation Settings – creation and maintenance of the various organisation settings
  • Additional Setup Menus – units of measure, projects and contracts, suppliers, catalogues and additional costs
  • Procurement Utilities – Candy setup, imports and buying rates, to enable better upstream control
  • Procurement Housekeeping – completion of orders and delivery reconciliation. The integrity and accuracy of data is critical to providing real time accurate information to make informed decisions at all levels of the business.
